Brother Winston Mpanga in the Zambia prison ministries. Testimonies added 08/25/2004 & 6-10-05 Here is what he wrote in part March 29, 2004 dear brother (Ron) , I write with joy to hear that you are
willing to help with books to take to prison. … we have started with the biggest
prison( maximum prison) in Zambia and we have been preaching for about 4 years
now. Then besides this big prison we have also reached out to two small prisons
within the same town. Due to security reasons we are not allowed to take
photos…we have to identify areas of great need currently we are faced with the
issue of how the ex prisoners join back into society after serving their jail
sentences. We have tried to keep most of them around us so as to continue with
them in the Gospel but due to lack of resources we have not done enough… currently we are having a project of building a church with some space to accommodate the ex prisoners who have desired not to go back to the families back instead want to stay with us. your help to enable us accomplish this task will be greatly appreciated... as for the books , send English books as most of them can read English without much problems...
Books were sent out April 5, 2004 CD's sent out May 1, 2004 Please remember this ministry in prayer-thank you...
