Bud Robinson was born in the mountains of Tennessee on January 27, 1860. His family was very poor, and lived under meager conditions. Most people tried to discourage him from preaching because of his stutter. In spite of them, Bud followed His call. In the first year he saw 300 conversions. He would go out in his Sunday shirt and straw hat, with his pony, a Bible and songbook in hand. In his first four years of ministry he received a total of $16.

The Book "Honey in the Rock" by Uncle "Bud" Robinson is one of the best books written on Sanctification and easily explains this Bible doctrine.

Honey in the Rock

Quotes By William Branham

GOD COMMISSIONING MOSES THE PROPHET  JONESBORO AR 53-0508
E-15 Anything I hate to see is a spineless person call themselves a Christian. My, God wants somebody with grit and backbone. I like old Buddy Robinson, said, "Lord, give me the backbone the size of a saw log, put plenty of knowledge in the gable end of my soul, and let me fight the devil as long as I got one tooth, and then gum him till I die." And he did. That's right. I like that.
He got down in the corn field, and he said, "Lord, if You don't give me the baptism of the Holy Ghost, when You come back to earth, You're going to find a pile of bones laying right here." God give him the Holy Ghost.
You got to get determined. That's right. Get ready. Take over. God said so. Let's go take over. That's what God wanted us to do. That's what God wants us to do tonight. God's always willing to give us, if we're ready to receive it. That's right. God's made the promise, so it's ours. The promise is unto you, and to your children, to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. So the promise is here.

GREATER THAN SOLOMON IS HERE    GRANDE PRAIRIE AB 1-0515

As Buddy Robinson said, "Give me a testimony like a saw log. Put plenty of knowledge in the gable end of my soul; let me fight the devil as long as I got a tooth, then gum him till I die." That was his testimony, old Uncle Buddy, you know. And so he meant that too. So then, eighty-five years old, run sixty thousand miles a year in a little Chevrolet car, still preaching the Gospel. He wrote a book, sold a million copies. Didn't know the difference between a noun and a pronoun. Said, "I didn't know. I just wrote the thing...?..." But he was a great man of God.
