The name of that "certain saint" in the Hebrew is Palmoni. Dr Milo Mahan of New York published a book named "Palmoni" which inspired E. W. Bullinger. 

 Numerology is used by the occult and I don't intend to go into that now.

"He telleth the number of the stars" (Psa 147:4). 

He "bringeth out their host by number" (Isa 40:26).

"For now thou numberest my steps" (Job 14:16)

 "He weigheth the waters by measure" (Job 28:25).

"God hath numbered thy kingdom" (Dan 5:26)

"But the very hairs of your head are numbered" (Mt 10:30)

This is very plain that God is very much interested in numbers. What I intend to do here is a short reference to use as a tool.

The Number (1) one is interesting and I like this: 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Mat 6:33)

No small wonder the world is out of whack because this me first generation throws the whole sequence in a mess. God's dealing with man always involves duration of time rather than dates. did you know that mans pulse beats six days out of seven faster in the morning than in the evening while on the seventh day it beats slower. no small wonder all the heart attacks and general health problems people have by working on Sunday's etc.

Number one marks the beginning and we must begin with God. Bullinger brings out the fact the first words of Jesus were:

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? (Luke 2:49)

No we all know that the # 2 can mean good or bad for the second thing God created was light which caused division and division is not always bad for it takes division to bring life and life comes by light. The #2 is the number of witness or testimony!

The number (3) three is perfection God being perfected in Father, Son & Holy Ghost.

The number (4) is deliverance as the Three Hebrew boys were delivered from the fiery furnace. Jesus was the fourth man in the fire! Also note there were Four Beasts which represents the Four Gospels Mathew, Mark, Luke and John (the Face of a man, a calf - small ox , an eagle & a lion). The four winds, the four seasons, the four corners of the earth.

The number (5) is grace of course. The number of the cross-Jesus with five wounds. Five-fold ministries

The number (6) is the worldly number, the number of man-6000 years then Millennium. 

The number (7) is completion or zero Brother Branham said as N.A.S.A. counts down 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 God counts 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 its all done back to zero!

The number (8) is eternal or new beginnings as we note in the Feast of Tabernacles was on the eighth and there is no eighth day it rolls back to the beginning of the week the first day!

The number (9) is...Judgment-it was the ninth hour of the day when Jesus "yielded up the Ghost!" It can mark finality-the last of the single digits. 9 gifts, 9 fruits of the spirit=fruitfulness. Number of fullness and fruit of the womb. Abram's named changed to Abraham in Gen 17:1- 1+7+1=9 and was 99 years of age. El Shaddai -The Breasted One making Abraham fruitful in old age!

The number (10) is...the perfection of Divine order, Government, a cycle of completeness of order. Examples: the Ten Commandments, Noah was the tenth generation from God completing the antediluvian age, the Ten Plagues representing a total complete circle of God's judgment upon Egypt etc. Tithing is a tenth which represents the whole which is due God. There were ten tribes after the two tribes were cut off. The Ten Virgins speaks of the conclusion of the church so we can see the number 10 refers to the order of numbers coming to a full cycle. Abraham was the tenth generation from Noah.

The number (11) is...disorder hence the eleventh hour people are in the Laodicean age a chaotic orderless age. Incompleteness, disorganization, lawlessness. 

The number (12) is...a perfect number signifying perfection of government. Twelve patriarchs & 12 Apostles etc. 12 is the number of worship-note the 24 elders of Revelation 4:10 which are the 12 Patriarchs & 12 Apostles.

The number (13) is America. The number of the double portion-Ephraim the 13th tribe.

The number (40) is the number of temptation-Jesus being tempted 40 days. 

The number 42 signifies tribulation. (Rev11:2-3)

The number (50) is...Jubilee or time of freedom, the number of Pentecost. 

The number (100) indicates it seems that of fullness as Jesus spoke of some bringing forth fruit 100 fold or 100%...

The  Number 120 is the end of Flesh, beginning of life in the Spirit. (Gen 6:3, Deut 34:7) Multiples of a number simply magnify the thing- 120 multiplied by 50 = 6000 years of time.

The number (666)...the number of the beast.

70 times 7 is the number of forgiveness.

 70 souls went down to Egypt and became a great nation. Exodus 24:1 & 9 the seventy elders represents the multitude!
