069 I will tell you what I did.
I went and got me a piece of paper and made a little fire, and set the old boy
on it. He walked then, I--I mean say. That's right.
And
what the Church needs today is an old fashion Gospel of fire--fire of the Holy
Ghost fall along the altar, and in every heart. It'll make a church, sure as
the world. That's right. Yes, sir. Get the power of God back. Get the Holy
Spirit back in the people's hearts again where you can have a living faith
in God, when you say Divine healing, "Yes, I accept It." Hallelujah.
That's right. Back to the Bible and back to the Holy Spirit. Sure, how
wonderful...

081 And we bow to give thanks
to God. Now, Father, we thank You for Your healing. And we thank You for that
loyal mother and lovely little girl who was willing to come and show that Jesus
still lives and reigns. To see that big, ugly-looking thing like a cancer,
puffed up all over head and side there, and You healed her and took it away. We
thank You for it. And we pray now that You'll bless that loyal mother, whose
heart is thrilled. When the little girl is a woman, may she still be testifying
of Your praise.
Now,
I continue to lay hands on the sick, as brother and I anoint. And may they
receive the same kind of blessing that this little girl did. If they could only
believe it in childlike
faith, like the child did, it should be so. [Blank.spot.on.tape.
Brother Branham and Brother Neville continue praying for the sick--Ed.]

043 Hybrid faith. It'll read Hebrews 13:
it say, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Hebrews... And then the hybrid faith comes in: "Well, in a certain way,
He's the same yesterday, today and forever; but He's not... He can't heal
today, 'cause that's out of His program." But genuine faith will say He is the same.
It's not hybrid. It's not... It's not all churched up with theology of
man, not mule religion: man's word and God's Word mixed together.

059 I got a little Bible when I
first started out, I wrote a little book; there should be somebody say,
"Is it wrong to smoke, is it wrong to drink, is it wrong to do
so-and-so?"
I
said, "Don't ask me foolish questions. Make this up in your mind. If you
love the Lord with all your heart, you don't smoke, chew, or drink any
shine." And that's... I still stand by that. When the love of God's in
your heart, you have got no time for nothing else. You're sold out. The Bible
says, "If you love the world or the things of the world, it's because the
love of God's not even in you." And your own life tells about it. I hope
that's plain enough, I won't have to get any plainer. See? But that's true.
"By their fruits you know them."
So
shake ourselves. Let's be Pentecostal or--or be something else. If we are not
Pentecost, let's quit saying we are (See?), until we get back to the real
Pentecostal experience, get back to faith, daring faith. Them disciples sealed their death with their
faith. Oh, faith of out fathers living still in spite of dungeon, flame, or
sword. That's what we want, real genuine faith.
25-3
053 Now, Moses give away to that,
and he set his faith
paralyzed the world. Either your faith will paralyze glamour, or
either the glamour will paralyze your faith. Now, you have to take
one or the other. And you see the Bible don't change; God don't change.
He's the unchangeable God.
And
now we find today that people of this day (See?), they look to the big things,
the big organizations. "I belong to the So--and--so," See? And they
go down there and look; there's no difference from the street people. There's
no other things... They have a little intellectual something he want... When
you talk about Divine healing, the Pillar of Fire, the Light of God; they say,
"That's mental."

056 When Satan tempts us, we
are to resist him in a perfect faith in a perfect Word, like Jesus did.
The Word of God is perfect. We're to have perfect faith in this perfect
Word and resist Satan.
Now,
we'll hurry, just as quick as we can.
By
His faith in--in His Word we--He conquer--we can conquer anything, both death,
hell, and the grave. We know that God is God, that perfect faith in God's
perfect Word, He conquered everything that He come in contact with. Death could
not even stand in His Presence. Sickness could not stand in His Presence.
Flowing from Him was like rivers of virtue, going out constantly, virtue going
from His garment. These people, laid in the shadows, just put their finger on
His garment and was healed. When that woman done that, then everybody wanted to
touch His garment, 'cause they seen that there was virtue going from Him
constantly, flowed like rivers. There He was, walking, walking in a world of
perfect faith, because He was the Word.

028 I'm telling you, faith...
But you've got to have hope and charity. If you've got real burly faith and
no love with it, you've ruin your influence before the people (if you
haven't got love mixed with it). See? You seen people, a real burly,
what we would say (excuse the expression) a bulldog faith, to grab a hold, but
is so rough with it. Then you see when you do that, it doesn't--it hasn't got
the kindness here to move with it. So what we need is hope, faith, and charity.
Isn't that right? Hope, faith, and charity, together. God help our church to
have it like that, the people, to have that combination.
E-15
015 Faith, why, it's the most
common thing there is. You can't even get a drink of water without faith. You
couldn't come to this meeting without faith. You cannot move your finger
without faith. It's said in the Scripture that when they put the Blood on the lintel
of the door, for the passover in Egypt, it was put on the hyssop. Do
you know what hyssop is? Hyssop is common weed. You can just find it anywhere.
And that's the way the Blood is to be applied to the heart's door, tonight, is
by something common, faith.
We
try to press it out, and make it something, that no one can take a hold of.
It's so simple, that you go over the top of it, trying to find it. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen," said the writer of Hebrews the 11th chapter,
1st verse.
E-92
092 You believe with all your
heart? What about some of you people setting down here? What do... You believe
with all your heart? Then have faith.
What
about you setting here, this colored man, setting here looking at me. You have
a prayer card? No. You don't need one. You've got faith, and that's all you need.
You believe me to be His prophet... or His servant? You believe that with all
your heart? I'm a stranger to you. We're two different races of people, and our
first time meeting. But you seem to have a good feeling to your spirit. You got
faith of some sort. That's good faith for somebody else, you're praying for
though. That's right. Your sister, she has cancer. If
that's right, wave your hand. All right, believe and she'll get well.
You
believe with all your heart? If thou canst believe, all things are possible.
E-45
045 Oh, my. Friends, I--I...
You may think that I'm a awful peculiar sort of a person. But I wished I could
just take the faith that's in my heart and spread it out to you right now. You
see what I mean? There'll be a spontaneous something happen here that every
person in the building...
You
say, "Well now, Brother Branham, I don't know whether I can move my hand
or not." You'll never move it as long as you think that. Believe that He's
done it, and go say He's done it, and act like He's done it. Move it an inch.
If you can't move it, let's take it all, move it a little bit farther. The next
day I'll move it a little farther. The next day I'll move it a little farther.
Satan said, "That's far as you can go."
Say,
Oh, no, I'm going on." Keep on with it. Stay with it.
Great faith will bring you right now. A little faith will bring you on anyhow if
you'll stay with it. Just when you see the ray of light, follow
it. Stay with it; it'll bring you out. Oh, my.
E-28
028 Paul was down here in the
natural realm with his Ph.D. See? He didn't know... He had an intellectual faith,
but he didn't have a Divine faith. There's quite a difference in me having an
intellectual faith than a Divine faith. There's where you, my
Baptist friends, fail to go on. You get the intellectual faith by that, but it
must be a Divine revelation of Jesus Christ to you that just came out of the
heart. The intellectual faith is not enough. That's all right, but it
only brings you to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a personal experience of
the birth, the new birth, regeneration, making a new creature in Christ.

007 The blood tonight is
applied by simple
faith, just not nothing supernatural. It's right
around you everywhere. Just simply like a child, reach out and get ahold of it
and apply the blood. The hyssop is just a simple childlike faith
for the believer. It isn't something out of your reach. You don't have to reach
very far to get it.
This
hyssop that grows in that country, it grows out of the cracks of the walls: a
little, kind of a diamond-shaped leaf. You can pick it up anywhere, just as--as
grass, or weeds would be in--in the country here now. Just pick it up, apply
it, put it on the door.
That's
the way faith is to be applied. Take faith rather, and apply the Blood of Jesus
Christ by faith to the heart's door.
This
was going to separate and make the difference between those who were going out
of Egypt and those who were going to stay in Egypt and perish with Egypt. It
made the difference.

009 You know, there's
many times that we try to reach out for something, for a certain kind of a
faith. And you don't have to have some kind of a super faith to--to be healed. The
only thing you have to have is just take the faith that you got.
You
know, in the Bible the blood was applied to the doors by hyssop. Our clergy
brothers know that. Hyssop is just common weed. And what it is, the people
today are trying to reach to find an orchid to apply the blood with. And
it's not even applied by an orchid. It's applied by hyssop, common,
just everyday
faith, just like...
