139 047 The law was a judge. The law judged, but
the atonement stood between the confessed believer and the judgment. There laid
the judgment in the ark, ready to come forth. But when it did, it couldn't, for
there was an atonement standing between it and the believer. And the believer
come and accepted Christ in the shadow and type, shed blood sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat, then he had mercy, and
could walk away rejoicing, because he was free from judgment.
"There
is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, that walk
not after the flesh, but the Spirit." And when a man knows that he's died
to the things of the world, and those that get in Christ Jesus, and walking
according to the Holy Spirit, and not the ways of this sinful world, there's no
condemnation to him. He can look in the face of hell and judgment and rejoice,
because there's the Blood of Christ making atonement, standing between him and
judgment. Amen. There you are.
The
believer once in, the lid shut down, that settles it for all time. Amen. Gold,
Deity laid over and underneath it, and all around it, wrapped up in Deity.
Every man that's come into Christ is wrapped up in the Holy Spirit and become
sons and daughters of God.
152 052
Notice, put a crown on it. Why? It was the king. What did that gold
crown laying on top of a box mean? It meant that here, with that gold laying over
it, humanity was covered with gold. Blood sprinkled on top of it, and a crown
laying on that.
What
a perfect type of Christ and His Deity, His love. He come forth into the world and laid Himself over
humanity, His Church, His believers. Upon that, He sprinkled His own Blood, and will
save "whosoever will." And two Angels beat out of gold, and the wings
pointing across each other at the Mercy
Seat, where every believer come, confessing his sins, receive
reconciliation for his sin.
E-60 060
I'm so sorry I kept you late. Oh, I love Him. Just to think, we're
living in the Presence of the King. Did you ever sing this old song?
Hallelujah,
hallelujah;
I
have crossed the riven veil where the glories never fail,
Hallelujah,
hallelujah;
I
am living in the presence of the King.
Hallelujah.
Crossed the riven veil where the glories never fail, where the Shekinah Glory
of God keeps alive, keeps from contaminating, keeps from indulging in the
world, and sets aside, sanctifies the believer, taking all the things of the
world, all the doubt and darkness from his mind, and putting a pure heart. God
writing His laws, one time, and put it in the table under the ark. And today, the man living in the
Shekinah Glory, under the Mercy Seat,
God writes His laws upon his heart and preserves them.
I
don't want to get started again. Amen. I'm so glad that we can live in the
Presence of the King.
E-28 Put Aaron's rod in there, an old dead almond tree. But as it
went under the Shekinah Glory, everything it was, was restored again. That's
the way a sinner is when he goes under the Shekinah Glory of the Holy Spirit,
the veils drop behind him, everything that he ought to have been, a son of God
blooms out in him again. Amen.
Remember,
over night it budded, blossomed, and growed almonds on it, fruits of the
Spirit: love, joy, long-suffering, goodness, gentleness, patience. That's what we need to get in
the third step, get over into the Shekinah Glory where that little sacred Light
was hanging over the--the Mercy Seat.
That's the place to stay, where the manna, pot of manna set down by the ark.
That's the place to live. The curtains is dropped behind you. Out in the
outer courts where the justified stay, there was daylight. Sometimes we have
that was the--the lights of the firmament; they had all kind of light out
there. It'd be dark sometime, day sometime, spotted, no certainty.
E-30 When a man went into the inner veil, the second veil, he was hid from
the world; the curtains dropped around him. And when we can lose ourselves in
Jesus Christ, don't care what your denomination is, them things don't bother
you any more, you're just lost in Christ. Don't care what the howling mobs
around say, you're lost in Christ. Amen.
There's where the Shekinah Glory, where the
Light, that Halo, that little Ball of Fire, that come in behind the altar, and
went down, and settled on the Mercy Seat,
where the Blood was. And there that Light lit up the room.

THINGS ARE POSSIBLE SHREVEPORT

E-34 Now, when this man looked in the face of
the Lord Jesus, He was anointed. He was the anointed God. Here He was
standing there, the anointed Man, God in the Man. And when he did, there was
something caught the man...?... He said, "Have compassion on us."
Now, he's on the right grounds. He's coming on the grounds of pleading mercy.
He's coming to the Mercy Seat. And
that's the only way you'll ever get anything from God, is come to the Mercy Seat, not judgment, not upon
self, but upon the mercies of God.
Now,
he's on the grounds for healing. There's no "if" in it. He's placed
it on Jesus now. Watch. No more, "Sir," now he says something
different. It's Jesus then places it right back on him. He said, "Oh,
canst thou believe? Can you turn Pastor, Rabbi Jones down over here? Can you
cast all this doubt away from you? Canst thou now believe?"
E-35 And the father looked Him in the face,
said, tears running down his cheeks, something had struck him. A change had
come in his heart that very moment, and he said, "Lord, I believe. Forgive
me," so many words, "forgive me for my unbelief. All this time I've
tried to believe the Pharisees. I've doubted when the disciples failed. Forgive
me, Lord, of my unbelief," and with tears rolling down. The Spirit of God
had struck his heart, and he said, "Lord, I believe. Forgive me of my
unbelief or the Bible quotes it, "Help Thou my unbelief," but it's "Forgive
my unbelief."
There
he stands. What is it? Now, watch. A few moments ago he was "Sir, if thou
can." But when Jesus caught his attention, it wasn't "Sir."
Capital "L-o-r-d." What happened? When he come to the Mercy Seat, he found mercy. Hallelujah.
I know you'll think I'm crazy; maybe I am. Let me alone though, I'm happy this
way.
Look. "If thou
can." Pastor, I believe you have been right. "If thou can," and
He looked at him. Said, "How long has he been this a way?"
He
said, "Since a youth." He said, "And have mercy on us." Mercy Seat he had found forgiveness,
ask forgiveness, and repented and now "Lord, I believe. Forgive me of my
unbelief." Lord, "Lord" means "ownership."...?... that
I am...
E-50 When Jesus died, He cleansed all the world
of sin, but you have to accept it. You have to accept your pardoning, or God
would destroy the world. The very first sin was committed God would rock her
off of her place, 'cause He's holy. And His Words are right.
Before
He could even talk to Adam and Eve He had to make a sin offering there with a
lamb. That's the reason that they can have rocks-and-rolls and all kinds of
vulgar in the world tonight, and God doesn't take their life, or skip the world
off, is because that Blood is a laying on the Mercy Seat. But one of these days that's Blood's coming off the Mercy Seat and then it's judgment.
I don't know; it may be off before that clock gets nine-thirty. I don't know.
Then she'll be dark and there'll be nothing but judgment. You've passed your
own judgment with the attitude you taken towards His Son and the atonement.
E-12 Let's do that
after we read the Word and study for the next forty-five minutes. Let us pray.
O Lord, it is a gracious
thing to come into the Presence of God. And we know that You hear, because You
promised You would. And we're so happy to know that we have a Saviour that's
a--the only Mediator between God and man, that's at Your right hand today to
make intercession upon our confession. Anything that we should confess that
Jesus has done for us, then You are there to make that good. There is a
bloody sacrifice laying on the Mercy
Seat today. And we are so happy to know that we have a right to come
through to that; for when we come to God, we want to come boldly. Not because
that we think we're deserving, but because we have been bidden to come by the
Lord Jesus, Who said, "Ask the Father anything in My Name, I will do
it." Oh, how perfect that is.
And
let our assurance today rest solemnly upon Thy Word, for It is Truth. And as it
is written, "Let every man's word be wrong or a lie, and God's be
Truth." And we're coming today, Lord, help us to nail down and clench on
the other side Thy Words of faith, that we might go out of here today better
people than we were when we come in. For we ask it in Jesus' Name, and for His
sake, Amen.
23 015
God have mercy on us. Brother, I'd like to live in this life, in my
desire, till if even the least bit of His grieving, I'll know it in my heart;
if I should do something that would grieve Him, I'd be able to feel it just in
a moment. See? Let alone, His absence, I don't want to be here when He's not
here. I want to be gone then. Yes, sir. For there'll be no Blood on the Mercy Seat; it'll be dark and smoky and
black. The sanctuary will have no Lawyer there to plead our case at that time.
You know the Scripture says that? The sanctuary was smoking. There was no Blood
on the Mercy Seat, then it's
judgment.
E-34
But He took the Blood to the Mercy Seat.
And only He, alone, could go in once a year. But when Jesus died, on the day of
the atonement, He rent the veil in two. Not only the high priest, but whosoever
will may come anytime into the Shekinah Glory of God by the baptism of the Holy
Ghost, into a real Pentecostal fellowship (Amen), into a place in the Presence
of God, where the power of God cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We become
new creatures in Christ Jesus. The Holy Ghost falls upon us and all of our backwardness and shameness,
we become into a relationship with God. Isn't the Church the Bride?
Well, shouldn't the Bride be bringing forth children crying, "Abba,
Father"
REV
CHAP 4 PT 2 24 ELDERS JEFF IN 61-0101
226 096
And he went there and offered the blood on the Mercy Seat once a year. And while he was in there, he was
privileged to see the Shekinah Glory, when the Pillar of Fire, the emerald
Light that come down, that led the children out of Israel. He even smoked up
the temple so no one could see it. The glory of the Lord fell till it was all
smoked up. And He came in Hisself, went in behind the veil and settled down on the
Mercy Seat in the holiest of holies,
most holy place, it's called, holy of holies. And he had to be dressed a
certain way, walk a certain way, anointed a certain way. He was a special
person to go in there. How the congregation must've envied him.
But when Jesus died, the
temple veil rent. Not only a high priest, but whosoever will can have that same
anointing of the Shekinah Glory and walk a holy life, "Holy, holy, holy, unto
the Lord," and approach in the very Presence of God, through the Blood of
Jesus Christ before him. Take him in a "Lord Jesus, here lays a sick man;
he's my brother. He's on the death bed right now to die. I'm approaching
You." Holy, holy, holy, unto the Lord.
"As a high
priest."
"What for?"
"In behalf of my
brother." Holy, holy, holy, unto the Lord.
233 099
As we seen them... Now, that was God's throne in heaven. Moses patterned
it on earth, was God's throne because His judgment seat was represented here on
earth in the holy of holies. God... All Israel come to that one place to find
mercy, 'cause God only met under the shed blood.
Now, listen close. Then
the Shekinah glory raised from that Mercy
Seat one day, and it settled on another Tabernacle (Amen.), this One,
"The Father judges no man, but He's committed all judgment to the
Son": God's Judgment Seat. "You speak against Me, it'll be forgiven
you," speak another--another One coming, another Mercy Seat. Speak... You can speak against the Son of man, and
I will forgive you; but someday the Holy Spirit will come to dwell in the
hearts of the people, one word against It will never be forgiven."
89 Now, these elders setting upon the throne
with his crown. Now, the 5th verse, we're going to start. And out of the throne proceeded
lightnings... thunders, voices: and there was seven lamps on fire burning
before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Oh,
I love this. Don't you? Oh, I--I just feel like my coat fits me, you know. I
just... when... Oh, I mean in a spiritual coat, of course, you know. All right.
"Out
of the throne..." Let's speak of this throne now for a few minutes. This
was not a throne of mercy; mercy's throne is finished. No more mercy, it's
without mercy. How are we going... How is the judgment seat going to be the
judgment seat of Christ, the judgment seat, the white throne judgment? Is there
going to be mercy then? There is not one speck of mercy to be given. At the
judgment throne you could scream "mercy" till you couldn't scream no
more, and you just might as well scream out in the air somewhere, 'cause
there's no more mercy.
92 045
Now, is the day of mercy. Now, let's go back in the Old Testament here
just a little bit and find out what mercy is. Go on back and see what happened
to this throne. This throne, of course, is the--the judgment seat. And the--the
reason today that there is mercy, is because the Mercy Seat is sprinkled with an atonement: Blood. And as long as Blood is on the
judgment seat then it is not judgment no more; it's mercy; because Something
died to stay judgment. If you see it, say, "Amen." [Congregation
says, "Amen."--Ed.] As long as Blood is on the Mercy Seat, showed that Something died to hold judgment back. But
when the church is raptured, the Mercy
Seat becomes a judgment seat.
93 046
Over in the Old and the New Testament here too, "And the
sanctuary..." That's where the--the jury in the sanctuary, the judge on
the seat in the sanctuary... Now, that judgment seat and the sanctuary become
full of smoke. What was it? Like Mount Sinai, judgment. Mercy had left the--the
throne of God. God will judge the world without mercy. How many knows that?
Only one thing He'll
recognize in that day; what is It? Blood. That's the only thing that appeased
an angry God.
301
Moses was taken up into heaven: Moses, taken from the earth up into
heaven and saw the altar of God. Is that right? I'm trying to prove my point here.
You know what I'm trying to do, don't you? All right. He went up in the Presence of
God. And when he descended from the Presence of God, he said... God told Moses,
"Make everything on earth as patterned after heaven." Is that right?
All right.
Now, then when he did, when he made the ark of the covenant, he put two
Cherubims to guard the ark. See what it is? It was the temple... It was the
altar, the throne guards. The two Cherubims, He said, "Mold them out of
brass and put their wings a touching like this," because that's exactly
what he saw in heaven. That's exactly what John saw in heaven, these four
Cherubims on the four sides of the ark of the throne in heaven. They were the
guards of the ark. Cherubims, guards at the Mercy Seat.
If
you want to read that Scripture (We ain't got time to go to it.), put down
Exodus 25:10 to 22.
Now, they guard the Mercy Seat when God is in His Shekinah
Glory. Where was the Shekinah Glory? At the Mercy Seat. Is that right? They guard that Shekinah Glory. Um.
Whew. Listen, friends. Then it goes to show that every scalawag can't come
there and take of that. You've got to be prepared before you come into the
Presence of it.
326
140 Here. Mercy, m-e-r-c-y s-e-a-t, "Mercy Seat," nothing could come anywhere around it without
crossing those tribes. Crossing what? The lion; crossing the man, intelligence
of the man; and crossing the workhorse, as an ox; by crossing the eagle, the
swiftness of it. See? The heaven, the earth, in between, and all around... You
see, they were guards. And above it was the Pillar of Fire. Brother, nothing
touched that Mercy Seat without the
approach...
And
the only thing that could approach it was through the blood. Aaron went in there
once a year with the blood. Now, you see it?
Now,
watch. Each head of three tribes guarding the Mercy Seat, the Mercy Seat
of the Old Testament... Now, have you got that down, everybody? Now, here's a
brand new one, brother. Listen to this, then we'll go. Now, remember, that was
the guards of the Old Testament. How many's ever read it in the Bible, you know
that that's right? See, that's the guards of the Old Testament.
328
141 Now, we're living in
another age. Glory. Oh, I love this age. Don't you? Now, God has a Mercy Seat today to be guarded. You
believe that? Where's the Mercy Seat
found? In the heart of man. Where did it come in the heart of man? At the day
of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost (which is God) come into human hearts. Is that
right? Now, let's mark this down here, and get ready to draw it if you want
to. Pentecost, P-e-n-t; I'll put: Pentecost. This is the Mercy Seat, the Holy Ghost. Put in here... I'll tell you what, make
it more appropriate, let's put in here the "Dove" which means the
bird. See? All right, guarding the Mercy
Seat, now has God got guards for the Mercy
Seat today? Now that... Now, watch how beautiful it's drawed out.
331 143
Now, remember, God's got some guards for that--for that Mercy Seat. What is that Mercy Seat guard? All right. M-a-t-h,
Matthew, on the east; Luke--Luke, Mark, and John. All of their four Gospels
vindicate the Book of Acts to come; they guard it anywhere you want to look at
it.
Let's just take one, just
one, we ain't got time. I got twenty or more wrote down here, but let's just
take one on this subject for salvation. Are we going to have time to pray? No,
it's one o'clock, so I guess we won't have it unless you all want to pray for
the sick. Now, I got--I got, yeah, plenty of time. See? [A brother says,
"Stay all day."--Ed.] All right.
BASIS
OF FELLOWSHIP LONG BEACH CA 61-0214
E-50 Notice what taken place. Here he was, anointed,
went in behind that place, and they could just listen, hear them bells. Aaron
standing in the Shekinah Glory by the Mercy
Seat where the cherubims had their wings tipped over it, the guards of the Mercy Seat. And they could listen in
there. Oh, how their hearts longed to go in there. "Holy, holy, holy, unto
the Lord." And know that what it did to Aaron. Oh, he lived from year to
year to go in. And how the regular congregation couldn't go in, yet they were
living under the blood, but yet not into the Shekinah Glory.
But
when the true Blood came, the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, He broke down
the middle wall of partition, He tore down the curtain from top to the bottom.
And now the believer, whosoever will, let him come into the Shekinah Glory. And
a man through justification, believing the Word, sanctification, clean him from
his sins, he's a subject to enter into the Pentecostal Shekinah.
God
did the same thing on the day of Pentecost when He had saved the church through
justification, Romans 5:1, sanctification, He... I believe it was Saint John
17:17 said, "Sanctify them, Father, through the truth: for Thy Word is the
truth." But on the day of Pentecost the middle wall of partition had been
tore down, the curtain was rent from top to bottom at Calvary, and the believer
entered into that Shekinah Glory, and the power of God fell upon them.
"Holy, holy, holy, unto the Lord," went the praises and glories in
unknown tongues. And out of there they come shouting and rejoicing.
E-88 Did you ever notice how
Solomon built his temple? Listen close. When you entered into the door, what
happened? There was angels carved out of olive wood with their wings tipping
across, that every worshipper coming to the holy seat, come right down across
the tips of these angel's wings, right down to the Mercy Seat, right down to the altar. You know the order of
Solomon's temple.
Well, what is
an angel? A messenger. Get the dictionary and find out what an
"angel" means. Some of them's heavenly messengers, some of them's
earthly messengers, that God dwells in to bring His earthly message. And these
are messengers, angels of the Lord, messengers to you. And they're standing
there with their hands out to obey what God says. "Lay hands on the sick,
and they shall recover." It has to happen. Doesn't it? Do you believe that
every one of you coming through?
75 031
Now, we find out that they were the guards to the Mercy Seat. They watched the Mercy
Seat. Nothing come to it; it crossed over the tribes first before it could
get to the Mercy Seat. Every man
willing to give his life, every Israelite in camp would die before anything
could enter into that camp over there and take that Mercy Seat. And now, we find out that was the Old Testament order.
And
in the New Testament order we find the same thing, that it was guarded, the Mercy Seat. Oh, I hope you get it. The Mercy Seat is still guarded, still got
the guards. We found out that those guards are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
guarding the Book of Acts, the acts of the Holy Spirit done amongst the
apostles, which is the--the Book of Acts of the New--of the New Testament. And
the four writers of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, all guard that Mercy Seat to show that it is God, the
Holy Spirit today. Each Scripture, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, every one of
them will back up the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the acts of the
Holy Spirit.
E-15 Our heavenly Father, again
tonight we are approaching Thy--Thy SEAT OF MERCY, for we have been bidden by
our Lord to come, saying, "If you will ask the Father anything in My Name,
I'll do it." Now, we know that those Words are true, so we are coming to
the seat of mercy while it's still sprinkled with the Blood of the Lord Jesus,
crying out, "Father, forgive them." For, Father, truly we do walk
sometimes and stumble as it was, because we're walking in a dark world. And all
that we have is just the light of the Gospel, the Holy Spirit, to guide us, or
we'd tumble off into dark eternity without a hope, without God.
But
we're so glad that Thou has made a way for those who's been called to the
wedding supper. And what a privilege it is tonight to be assembled with a
group, those people setting present now, that's been invited to the wedding
supper, dressing, making ready now for the wedding to come. We're so thankful
for this.
25 018
Therefore, we know that we're at the end time; we're here. I don't know
how far away; I--He--I... He will never let us know that, because His coming
will be as a thief in the night. But, friend, my brother, sister, let's us be
ready regardless. Let's just chaste ourselves. See, because the world will go
right on. They'll never even know it's happened. When the doors of mercy's
closed, preachers will be preaching salvation, be (See?), causing people to
repent, going right on just like it always did. It did in other ages and it did
in--it will in this age. And the rapture will be so sudden and so quick
that the world will never even miss them, that they're gone. That's right.
They'll know nothing about it. He comes and slips Her away. It'll be gone; they
know nothing about it. So be in prayer. Pray for me. I pray for you. We don't
know when that hour will be, but we believe it'll be soon. And stay away
from shiny things. Stay with the Gospel. See? Stay right there now and pray.
105 055
In the Old Testament God was hid when He was on His Mercy Seat--on the Mercy Seat by a veil. In the Old Testament God
was in His temple. But the people come in and worship like this; but remember,
there was a veil (Amen.) that hid God. They knowed God was there. They couldn't
see Him. That Pillar of Fire never appeared anymore there. Did you notice?
There's not one time in the Scripture, from the time that Pillar of Fire went
in behind that veil, that It ever showed again till It come from Jesus Christ.
God was veiled.
When
He stood on earth, He said, "I come from God and I go to God."
Then Paul (after His death,
burial, and resurrection), on his road to Damascus, there was that Pillar of
Fire again. What was It? Out from behind the veil. Glory to God. He was from
behind the veil.
108 056
Now, He was behind what? Skin veil (See?), badger skins, behind the
veil. And when that veil was rent on the day of crucifixion, the veil that He
was wrapped in was rent on the day of the crucifixion, the whole Mercy Seat came into view.
111 058
But since Pentecost, since the crucifixion, when that veil was rent from
the top to the bottom, for that generation... Jesus was that God, veiled. And
when He died at Calvary, God sent fire and lightning and ripped that veil from
top to the bottom, that the whole Mercy
Seat was in plain view. But they were too blind to see it. As Moses said
here, Paul said, reading of Moses, "When Moses is read yet, that veil is
still on their heart." Oh, brother, sister, that's what the Jews did when
the veil was rent and brought God into plain view, hanging on the cross. He was
in plain view, but they couldn't see It.
117 062
Now--and one time, and if a man walked through that veil, it was sudden
death. Now, it's death not to go through it. Amen. If you can't break that veil
of tradition, break through that wall of denomination to see God in His power,
it's death. Once where it was death to go in, now it's death to stay out. The
whole Mercy Seat's setting in plain
view; anybody can see It; the veil's rent. Glory to God. The whole Mercy Seat comes into plain view.
118 063
How God could have mercy on foul sinners as us, when He hid Himself, was
a mystery. And now It's in plain view, or in full view, revealed by His
Word. It's always the Word, constantly; that is God. It's the Word that opens it up. If those people would've
knowed the Word of God that day when Jesus died, they'd have seen the Mercy Seat, they would've seen Who He
was.
"Who was that then?
Why did the veil rent?" Remember, it's death to go into it; nobody could
see it. Moses saw It in a form, It was a whirl... It was a--a man's back. But
here It is, a bleeding back, that same Man. What was It? God wanted to show
them the Mercy Seat; God wanted to
show them Who He was. So the veil in the temple, from the hand of God above,
was rent from top to the bottom and showed God in plain view. It was Jesus
Christ hanging on the cross, the Mercy
Seat. And what was it? The people were too blind to see It.
13-3 039
Now, when the veil was rent at Calvary, the Mercy Seat came into plain view, but what happened? It was hanging
on Calvary, dripping in Blood. As they had took blood year after year at the
cleansing of the sanctuary and the sprinkling of the Mercy Seat, there, God, with His great, mighty stroke of lightning
power, split the old badger veil from top to bottom, and the Mercy Seat came into plain view. The
real genuine Lamb of God was hanging in plain view on Calvary, the real Mercy Seat, when God had paid the price
Himself and become one of us, and had manifested Himself as a man to get
acquainted with us and we to be acquainted with Him.
13-4 040
The Mercy Seat was in plain
view of all Israel on that day of the Atonement. But alas, the traditions of
the church fathers in that day had, by their traditions, had veiled the true Mercy Seat from the people. If they
would've knowed the Scripture, each piece would've come like the Chinese tag.
The Old Testament prophecy would've been fulfilled, and it was. And if they'd
been taught the Scripture, they would've seen the Mercy Seat.
30 013
Now, it had been a very weary, nervous day, and it was an unusual day.
We find Jesus here coming up to Jerusalem, ready to attend the passover. And
the passover is where the pascal lamb was killed, and the blood was spread upon
the Mercy Seat for the--the
atonement for--for the people. And He had come up from Bethphage and had come
to the top of the Mount of Olives, which looks down upon another little hill
where Jerusalem was built. As He looked, He knowed that this was His final
visit.
This
was the time that when He would be delivered into the hands of sinful man and
they would kill Him. He would die the horriblest death that was ever died by a
mortal, and be buried. He'd be betrayed by His Own, some of them standing right
with Him. And Him, being God, knew what was in their hearts and knew from the
beginning who would betray Him. And knowed that man was with Him who set by His
side and counted His money to Him, and so forth, knowed that man would betray
Him. And knew that a cruel Roman cross waited for Him out there. He knew that
His water in His body and the Blood of His body would separate, and that the
Blood would drop off of His forehead in great big drops like perspiration. He
knew all that was before Him. And He stands upon the mountain, looking over to

REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST - CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT 1
In Revelation 15:3 it
says, "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of
the LAMB, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just
and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints." Do you see it? The LAMB, the
High Priest holding His blood as an atonement on the Mercy Seat for our sins is the Lord God Almighty. That is His
present office. That is what He is doing now, pleading His blood for our sins.
But one day that Lamb will become the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He will come
forth in power and glory and take His authority to reign as King. He is the
coming King of this earth. Of course, that does not say He is not King now. For
He is our King, King of the Saints. Right now it is a spiritual kingdom. It is
not of this world system even as we are not of this world. That's the reason we
act different from the world. Our citizenship is in heaven. We reflect the
Spirit of the world of our rebirth where Jesus is the King. That is why our
women do not dress in men's clothing or cut their hair or use all those
cosmetics and other things that the world likes so much. That is why our men
don't drink and smoke and carry on in sin. Our dominion is the dominion over
sin and it is in force through the power that is in the Spirit of Christ That
in-dwells us. Every kingdom on earth is going to be torn down, but ours will
remain.

Now examine this lampstand. You will notice that it has a large bowl, or
reservoir, that is central to seven arms that come out of it. This bowl is
filled with olive oil which flows through seven wicks which are placed in the
seven arms. It is the same oil that burns and makes a light at the end of the
seven pipes. This light never went out. The priests just kept pouring oil into
the bowl.
50-4
The lamp was lit in a special way. First, the priest took fire from the sacred
altar which was originally lighted by the fire of God. He lit, first of all,
the lamp that was sitting on top of the bowl. He then lit the second lamp from
the flame of the first lamp. The third lamp received its fire from the second
lamp, as did the fourth receive its from the third, and so on, until all the
seven lamps were burning. This holy fire from the altar, being passed from lamp
to lamp, is a wonderful type of the Holy Spirit in the seven Church Ages. The
original outpouring of Pentecost (which outpouring came direct from Jesus on
the Mercy Seat) is enduing His
Church through all the seven ages, and showing forth perfectly that Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever, the never changing God in
His essence and His ways.

In John 15, Jesus said, "I am the Vine, ye are the branches." He is
the main Vine, that which comes out of the original root from the original seed
that has the life in it. Now the vine does not bear fruit; it is the branches
that do that.
[What] if God, willing to shew [his]
wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels
of wrath fitted to destruction:
And that he might make known the riches
of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto
glory,
