31-1 REVELATION OF

No man knows the things of God save the Spirit of God and he to whom the Spirit of God reveals them. We need to call on God for revelation more than anything else in the world. We have accepted the Bible, we have accepted the great truths of it, but it still is not real to most people because the revelation by the Spirit is not there. The Word has not been quickened. The Bible says in II Corinthians 5:21 that we have become the righteousness of God by our union with Jesus Christ. Did you get it? It says that WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HIMSELF by being IN CHRIST. It says that He (Jesus) became SIN for us. It does not say He became sinful, but became SIN for us that by our union with Him we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. If we accept the fact (and we must) that He literally became SIN for us by His substitution for us, then we must also accept the fact that we by our union with Him have become the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. To reject one is to reject the other. To accept the one is to accept the other. Now we know the Bible says that. It can't be denied. But the revelation of it is missing. It is not real to the majority of God's children. It is just a good verse in the Bible. But we need to have it made ALIVE to us. That will take revelation.

E-22 God intends the Holy Spirit to lead the church. That's our Leader. That's the One that was sent to us, and we're to be dominated by Him and Him alone, that directs us. 48 022 Then this man here, that's what I think that atheists and some of them standing around arguing. But the hour has come when God shed forth His Light; there's a hour here that when God's doing things. That's right. And so now when they argue, "Well, his feet look like a bear, and his hands look like a--a ape or a--a monkey, or so forth," they try to say his origin come that. That has nothing to do with it.
This is the body of flesh that he's just living in, like a house, it's going back to the dust of the earth. But the spirit is immortal; it comes from God. That's the image of God. God is a Spirit.
That man lost his origin in the garden of Eden. His relationship, communion with God was cut off there because of sin and unbelief. Unbelief in what? The Word of God. A picture was painted one time to Eve, and told her how much brighter it would be if she'd just--just discard the Word of God, "look over here to reason." You can't. God...
There is a difference between
reason and God's Word. God's Word is true; reason is false. You can't reason
out nothing. That's right. Our mind is not (See?), is not good enough or never
will be, to fathom God's eternal wisdom. And therefore, you can't reason it; you
just got to believe it.

115 060 Notice. The tree that Satan caused Eve to partake of was the tree of good and evil. It was a mixed tree. Now, look at the day we're living in. When he's calling out a bride, he's got a church that claims to be doing good when it's evil by denying the Word. A mixed tree... Oh, say, "They--they have great societies. They--they--they--they help the--this. And the Red Cross endorses it, and all the schools, they..." Looky here. Oh, but just deny one word; that's all you have to do to die, no matter how intellectual, how good it is. Jesus said, "A little leaven leavens the whole lump." One spot of leaven ruins the lump. One Word of God displaced spoils the whole picture. What about my arm being where my foot should be? See? What if my ear was down here where my hand should be? A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Say, "How do you know it's right?" God proves it right. He vindicates it. He said it here in the Word, then He proves it. That's how we know it's right or not. Just deny one word is all it takes to die. It brought the same results in this evil age, spiritual death, as it did physical death to the whole human race.

How contrary is denomination to God's Word. He never had one, never
dealt in one, and never dealt with one. I want some historian to show me where
ever a prophet ever come out of the church. Show me where God ever a blessed the
church that was--after it was organized. She went on the shelf and died with
intellectual wisdom from the devil by their leaders and refused the Word of God
as It growed up into the perfect statue of Christ. Now, it's a--at the head.

from?"

moment. Oh, we eat with Him. We fish with Him. We sleep with Him. We--we know

this Man... This is a hard saying."
And the Bible said they didn't walk with Him any
more; they left Him.

This is the physical Body of Christ now. And when it is resurrected, it goes to meet its Mate, Christ Jesus, as Husband and Wife or as King and Queen. Watch carefully now and see this. Before there was ever a speck of star dust; before God was God (God is an object of adoration and no one was there to worship Him, so He was at that time only potentially God.) and He was known only as eternal Spirit, the bride was already in His mind. Yes, she was. She was existing in His thoughts. And what about those thoughts of God? They are eternal, are they not?
The eternal thoughts of God! Let me ask you, "Are the thoughts of God eternal?" If you can see this, you will see many things. God is unchangeable in both essence and behavior. We have studied that and proven that already. God is infinite in His abilities so therefore He as God must be omniscient. If He is omniscient, then He is not now learning, nor is He taking counsel even with Himself, nor is He at any time adding to His knowledge. If He can add to His knowledge, then He is not omniscient. The best we could say is that sometime He will be. But that is not Scriptural. He IS omniscient. He has never had a new thought about anything because all His thoughts He has always had and always will have, and knows the end from the beginning because He is God. THUS THE THOUGHTS OF GOD ARE ETERNAL. THEY ARE REAL. They are not simply like a man with a blueprint he has drawn up and which one day will be translated into substance and form, but they are already real and eternal, and part of God.
Down through the centuries we could go. We find a Moses, a Jeremiah, a John the Baptist, and each one of these were God's eternal thought expressed in its season. Then we come to Jesus the LOGOS. He was the perfect and complete THOUGHT expressed and He became known as the Word. That is what He IS, and forever WILL BE.
Now it says that "He hath chosen us IN HIM (Jesus) before the foundation of the world." That means that we were right there WITH Him in the mind and thoughts of God before the foundation of the world. That gives an ETERNAL quality to the elect. You can't get away from that.

65-1 184 Now, if Jesus knew Who He was... He was a predestinated creature of time. You believe that? Jesus, the body, He knew that He was the predestinated Word, the Person of God that was to stand in that day to be the Sacrifice for sin. And He knew His adversary (as I preached on a couple Sundays ago), He knew His adversary, and He knew Who He was; therefore, those two great forces come together, knowledge and faith. Jesus knew Who He was. Satan knew the Bible as good as Jesus did, but It wouldn't work for Satan. See? No matter how much knowledge you have it won't work.
Now, take that back to some of these big organizations. Think of it a minute. They say, "Well, we got the Word." Let me see It work. You Catholics, you say you're the original. Let's see it. Show me your works without your--or show me your works by--or without your faith, and I'll show you mine by my faith. See? See what the Word said.

When He come on earth He was a man, come down into flesh to take away sin. He said, "I come from God, and I go to God." He went to God.
After His resurrection, there was a man who saw Him. After His resurrection, after He'd ascended on high, and His body had been taken back to God, and was setting on the throne, there was a man saw Him. And I believe that's Acts about the 8th chapter, 9th, somewhere along there. And that man's name was Paul. And he was on his road down to Damascus, and a Light (That right?) struck him down, right in the middle of the day, and he said, "Who art Thou that I persecute?"
He said, "It's Jesus." He was in Spirit form.
And that's the form He will be until He returns in His corporal body. He will be in Spirit form, a Light. God is Light. He was in the beginning. He's still the Light. He was made flesh, went back to Light, and will be Light till He comes in the flesh. And when He comes again the second time in the flesh, then our bodies will be transformed, and made like unto His, and we'll be with Him forever. What a beautiful, rejoicing thing that is.

"The things that I do shall you also." After the resurrection, He, if He was supposed to do, that Spirit that was sent back that was in Christ to come on the church, was to do the same works that Jesus did when He was here on earth to make the covenant of people exactly the same with the body. This is the physical Body of Christ now. And when it is resurrected, it goes to meet its Mate, Christ Jesus, as Husband and Wife or as King and Queen. It's the same material that was in that Body is in this body of believers. The same Spirit that was in Christ is in us, doing the same works if Christ keeps His Word.

conference here just a moment. Many could be taught of. There was a conference
after His death, burial, and resurrection. Something had to be done. They were
men that had an intellectual conception. So there was another great conference
set. We know it in the Bible as Pentecost. They had to have a conference. And
something had to be done, for Jesus said, "Don't teach no more; don't sing
anymore; don't go out and minister anymore; but I want a conference with you.
And in this conference, I'm going to bring the Holy Spirit. But go up to the
city of Jerusalem, and there you wait until I get back. I've got to go up to
heaven to let them rejoice. And
I've got to go up to the--the throne of the Majesty (the body, Jesus). But I'm going... We're going to have a conference up there. And the God that dwells in Me has promised that I could return back again, and I'd be in you, with you, in you, even to the end of the consummation, the world. Until it's all over, I'll be with you. And the works that I do, will you do also."
So they didn't know how they'd ever do this, so they went to Pentecost, and a hundred and twenty went in the upper room and closed the door. And they waited and they waited.

Now, remember, that was not Jesus talking to Abraham there, that could discern the thoughts in Sarah's mind behind him. That was not Jesus; He had not yet been born. But it was a Man in human flesh, that Abraham called, "Elohim, the great Almighty," showing... And Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Sodom," now watch close, "in the days of Sodom, so will it be at the coming of the Son of man, when the Son of man is being revealed." Not no more as a church (See?), not no more; the Bride's called. See? "In that day the Son of man will be revealed." What? To join the Church to the Head, unite, the marriage of the Bride.
The Bridegroom call will come right through this, when the Son of man will come down and come in human flesh to unite the two together. The Church has to be the Word; He is the Word, and the two unites together, and to do that it'll take the manifestation of the revealing of the Son of man. Not a clergyman. I--I don't know, I... Do you see what I mean?
See, it's Son of man, Jesus Christ, will come
down in human flesh among us, and will make His Word so real that it'll unite
the Church and Him as one, the Bride, and then she'll go Home to the wedding
supper. Amen. She's already united (See?); we go to the wedding supper, not to
the marriage. "Fill your flesh... self, of all the flesh of mighty men,
'cause the marriage of the Lamb has come." But the rapture is going to the
wedding supper. When the Word here unites with the person, and they two become
one, and then what does it do then? It manifests the Son of man again, not the
church theologians, the Son of man. The Word and the Church becomes one.
Whatever the Son of man done, He was the Word, the Church does the same thing.

into full fruition in this age. Her fruit would mature and ripen. That is
correct. This evil-spirited church, full of iniquity, will be revealed as the

head will be the antichrist, the mystery of iniquity. All this is true. And if
this is true, then it must also be true that the Bride Church will mature, and her ripeness shall be an
identification with her Lord by means of the Word, and her Head Who will come
to her is the Mystery of Godliness, Which indeed is Christ. And as
the false church with all cunning and diabolical power made up of political
force, physical force and demons of darkness come against this true vine, the
true vine with the fullness of the Spirit and the Word will do the very acts of
power that Jesus did. Then as she nears her Headstone, becoming like Him
through the Word, Jesus will come that the bride and Groom may be forever

The sharpest eye there is, is an eagle. Watching down... Why, he can, he... If a hawk tried to follow him he'd disintegrate in the air. So the eagle is a special built bird, and he's got to have a special built eye so he can see where he's at.
God is Jehovah eagle. And He sets on the throne
of glory watching His children, just free, having a good time.

Who's doing the beating. Many times you think it's strange because fiery
trials, and sickness, and persecutions; it's only done to test you, to get the
dirt out of you, to get the sludge out of you, to get the slowness out of you,
to wake you up to the place where you can look and see the reflection--or men
can see the reflection of Christ in you: Christ in you, the hope of glory.
E-18 Now, but today with all of our modern convenience, and instead of reading the Bible to her children, will turn the television on and let them look at something that's not even fit for them to look at. Now, that's right. That's right. And another thing, we'll give them these little old comic books, and little old story books off of some drugstore mantle that oughtn't to even be sold to make--make kindling wood out of, or fire out of. And yet we poke all that kind of stuff down our children's necks. Why, the American... I bet you there's--that nearly every boy in America can tell you who Davy Crockett was. But I imagine there isn't one third of them can tell you Who Jesus Christ is. That's right. Oh, the Lone Ranger, or somebody like that, or some movie star, they know all about it because it's laid before them. And the Bible is the Book that's put away. And when the minister comes, they dig it out, and dust it off and lay it up like that. It's never read. What we need today is some good old fashion mothers back to take their children back to prayer. That's the best remedy I know of to cure juvenile delinquency (That's right.), is good old honest mothers.

118 063 How God could have mercy on foul sinners as
us, when He hid Himself, was a mystery. And now It's in plain view, or in full
view, revealed by His Word. It's always the Word, constantly; that is God. It's
the Word that opens it up. If those people would've knowed the Word of God that
day when Jesus died, they'd have seen the mercy seat, they would've seen Who He
was.
"Who was that then? Why did the veil
rent?" Remember, it's death to go into it; nobody could see it. Moses saw
It in a form, It was a whirl... It was a--a man's back. But here It is, a
bleeding back, that same Man. What was It? God wanted to show them the mercy
seat; God wanted to show them Who He was. So the veil in the temple, from the
hand of God above, was rent from top to the bottom and showed God in plain
view. It was Jesus Christ hanging on the cross, the Mercy Seat. And what was
it? The people were too blind to see It.

He's gone to prepare a place, a perfect place,
where no evil exist, no sickness exists, no old age exists, no death exists.
It's a perfect place calling you to that perfection, and you have to be perfect
to get there. The Bible said so. Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect even
as your Father in heaven is perfect." And it's a perfect Kingdom, so it
must be a perfect people come; because you have to stand and be married to a
perfect Son of God; and you must be a perfect Bride. So how can you do it
through anything else but the perfect Word of God, which is the Waters of
separation that washes us from our sins. Amen. That's right. The Blood of Jesus
Christ... Think of it. The dripping, bloody Word (Amen.), the Blood, the--the
Word of God bleeding Blood to wash the Bride in. Amen. Yes, sir. She stands
perfect, virgin, unadulterated; She never sinned in the first place. Amen. She
was trapped into it. See? There's the Father's house that He's gone to prepare.
