E-24 No wonder, Saint Agnabus when he was dying, when he come to the cross and they was going to kill him, and he run to them and embraced the cross and kissed it, that they were going to tar and feather him. And he said, "Oh, cross of Christ, I'm only sorry that I had just one life that I can give for Thee. Just sorry that I only had one life I can give for You...?..."
They said, "Are you afraid?"
He said, "Afraid." And
they strapped his hands to the cross; they drenched him in tar, and throwed
feathers over him, put a barrel of pitch at the bottom and rode by in a chariot
and throwed a lighted torch into the flame. And it went up around him. And
after the people made their rejoicing and passed their stones one to another,
that they'd got rid of this pest, a preacher of righteousness, what happened?
The fire burnt down and the saint was hanging on the cross, praising and
blessing God. God had prepared a way of escape for him right in the midst of
the fire. He'd prepared a way. Why, he come bravely, boldly. That's the way we come to God's
promises. We come boldly to accept them. We don't come shuddering,
saying, "Maybe, I will. Maybe I... Next Sunday, maybe, this will be
that..."
No, we come with the assurance in our heart. "God
through Christ has prepared a way and I come to accept it." It's an easy
thing when you look and see what the promise was made by, if you see that it
was God made the promise. If God made the promise, God's able to keep His
promise.
GOD HATH A
PROVIDED WAY JEFF IN 56-0108
E-56 Every one be reverent now. Here's a man that stammers, stutters, and he wants to preach God's Word. He wants to be delivered so he can preach the Word of God. I want you to be reverent and believe that God will take this stammering spirit away from this man for the glory of God.
Now, our heavenly Father, stand near in this little, old,
crude built tabernacle, yet, knowing that the Shekinah Glory of God, Who dwelt
under the interlocked wings of the Cherubims is standing present now. And as
our souls can let loose of the filthy things of the world and moves into His
Presence, and we can feel and know that He's standing here... We come boldly, knowing that we would--knowing this, that we would die if it
wasn't for Christ's glory now, but His shed Blood makes a way. We
could come then boldly up to Your throne under the interlocked wings of the
cross.

E-30 My brother, sister, if we don't scratch quickly and get the seed of God into the ground, what's the harvest going to be? We've got to go forth with another old fashion pouring out of the Holy Ghost and men and women back to God again, or this country and this church, and Pentecost, and all is lost, if we don't get back to the seed and the Word of God again and an old fashion revival. Do you believe it today? Do you believe that God would pour it out?
Oh, my. I feel today, led in my soul to make this proposition with the people. I believe if every one of us in this building today will rededicate our lives to God and will... As Jacob was told by the Lord to wash up his, get his people to clean themselves up to present themselves before the Lord, I believe if we'll clean ourselves up from all of our evil thinking, from all of our selfishness, from all of our backbiting, from all of our acts of this life, and come boldly before the throne of God, I believe an old fashion revival will break out right here in Angelus Temple, that one week will never stop it. That's right. It'll just keep going. Do you believe it?
HEBREWS CHAPTER
7 PT 2 JEFF IN 57-0922
361-432 O Lord, grant just now that we'll all recognize that these breaths that we're drawing are fleeting. We don't know how many more we have ahead of us. That's all by Your great council. It's determined by You. O be merciful to us. And to those who raised their hands, Lord, there no need to mention them; You know every one of them. But I just offer this prayer of intercession for them. I pray that You'll take away the condemnation from their heart, and let them come boldly just now unto the throne, walk boldly right up to the throne of God, claim their God-given privilege. You caused them to raise their hands; they couldn't do it by themselves. And I pray, God, that You'll grant this in Jesus' Name. Amen.

MOSES JEFF IN 58-0720M
E-12 Now, just before we turn back to the pages here for a Sunday School lesson, to this great Word of the living God, let us just bow our heads, a few moments, as we speak to the Author of this Book. And now, lay aside every thought, everything that's contrary, to keep you from having a blessing, let's pray.
Most holy and righteous God, into Thy blessed, august
presence we come now offering to Thee, our lives, and our--our souls, and our
bodies, and our services, and our talents; and all that we have, we present
them to Thee. And as You look upon us, Lord, if there is any sin, naked and
unconfessed, we would ask Thee, O Lord God, that You would apply the Blood of
Thy Son, Jesus, to such a place. For realizing that we, in ourselves, are
insufficient, and there it is impossible for us to ever be self-sustaining. But
we rely completely upon His precious Blood and His grace to apply it to our
account, that we, unworthy sinners, might come boldly some day into Thy presence, bringing
before us this Blood of the Lord Jesus, which Thou in the times past has
recognized it to be the Blood of Thy only begotten Son, and has made the
promise, that through Him, if we confess our sins, we shall be justified by His
grace.
LIVING DYING
BURIED RISING COMING LA CA 59-0403
E-28 There when we come, brother, come into God, there's not one thing... He that cometh must come boldly to the throne of grace. You mustn't come wondering.
When you come into the prayer line, you mustn't come wondering, "Well, if this minister will pray for me, perhaps, maybe he's got healing power." Brother, sister, healing power is in God. It's in cross, in the finished work at Calvary. When you come, come to be justified. You are justified when you confess your faith, that, "By His stripes I was healed. I'm going to make a stand. The doctor says I'm dying. I got tumor, I got TB, or whatever it is. But tonight I stand, because I believe that He loved me, and died for me, and saved me, and buried my sins far away."
ABRAHAM'S
SEED SAN JOSE CA 59-0423
E-12 Let's do that after we read the Word and study for the next forty-five minutes. Let us pray.
O Lord, it is a gracious thing to come into the Presence
of God. And we know that You hear, because You promised You would. And we're so
happy to know that we have a Saviour that's a--the only Mediator between God
and man, that's at Your right hand today to make intercession upon our
confession. Anything that we should confess that Jesus has done for us, then
You are there to make that good. There is a bloody sacrifice laying on the
mercy seat today. And we are so happy to know that we have a right to come
through to that; for when we come to God, we want to come boldly. Not because that we think we're deserving, but because we
have been bidden to come by the Lord Jesus, Who said, "Ask the Father
anything in My Name, I will do it." Oh, how perfect that is.
And let our assurance today rest solemnly upon Thy Word, for It is Truth. And as it is written, "Let every man's word be wrong or a lie, and God's be Truth." And we're coming today, Lord, help us to nail down and clench on the other side Thy Words of faith, that we might go out of here today better people than we were when we come in. For we ask it in Jesus' Name, and for His sake, Amen.
ALL THE DAYS OF
OUR LIFE CHICAGO IL 59-0612
E-9 Now, before we open His Word, or read It so that He can open It to us, let us bow our heads for a word of prayer.
Gracious Lord, into Thy Presence we boldly come now, yet humbly, realizing that we have no standings at all, any merits that we could come this a way boldly. But it's because that we have been asked to come boldly to the throne of grace. And we come in the Name of Him Who bid us to come, the Lord Jesus. And we pray, God, that You will answer our prayer. And we have that blessed assurance that if our hearts condemn us not, that God will hear.
And if there'd be any thing in our lives that would
be condemnation to us, then Lord, first forgive us of our trespasses as we
forgive those that trespass against us. Because we know that He that told us to
come, said, "If you, from your heart, do not forgive every man his
trespasses, neither does your heavenly Father forgive you your
trespasses." And therefore, when you pray, stand praying, forgive."
Lord, if I have an enemy anywhere in this world, I pray, God, that You forgive
the both of us, knowing that we are men and human beings that's striving to
enter the Kingdom.
CONDEMNATION BY
REPRESENTATION JEFF IN 60-1113
36-12 Now, lay down on the--every principle of God, lay right there on It. Then come to that spot and say, "God, I've repented. I've been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. I've recognized the Blood. I've recognized the Son of God. I recognize You, my Father. You've blessed me with the Holy Spirit; now Satan tries to plague me and make me sick. I come boldly (Amen.), no condemnation. I've kept Your Word. I've stayed here like Hezekiah, when the Lord said,'Tell Isaiah, go down and tell him he ain't coming off that bed. He's going to die.' He said, 'Lord, I've walked before you with a perfect heart. I need fifteen years longer." The Lord told the prophet, 'Go back and tell him I heard him. He's going to live.'" That's right. It changes things. That's the way you've got to come: no condemnation. If there's condemnation, you're just--you're--you're just fighting air. You've got to come where you're clean and clear. I believe it. I'm standing here. Lord, I believe It.
If I... If you're a sinner, and you don't know God, tell God right here, "Lord, I'm--I want to be healed. I want to serve You. But I give You now, my heart. Here I am, use me."
Like the Prophet in the Temple said, "Here am I, send me, Lord." And the angel took a coal of fire.
CHURCH CHOOSING
LAW FOR GRACE MIDDLETOWN OH 61-0316
E-11 Our heavenly Father, we are approaching
Thy throne of grace, not Thy throne of justice, Lord, we could not stand it. We
do not ask for justice; we'd be lost; but we ask for grace. And we come
because Thou hast bid us to come, and we have the promise that we will receive
what we ask for if we'll come
boldly, not doubting, and ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus. For it
is written, "Whatever you do in word or in deed, do it all in the Name of
Jesus." He said Himself, while on earth, "If you ask the Father
anything in My Name, I'll do it." And we're sure that we get what we ask
for, for we come in faith believing with all that's in our hearts to believe
with, and we ask it in Jesus' Name for grace and mercy and courage to surround
us tonight and give us a great portion of Thy Spirit in our hearts as we need
it.
Give faith to those who raised their hands, and I am one of them, for the requests that was in our heart, that we will believe with all our hearts that You will grant our requests. For we commit the service and ourselves to You to do with us as You see fit. As we approach the Word to preach It, let the Holy Spirit come and anoint the Word and plant them in the hearts of us all. For we ask it in Jesus' Name. Amen.
QUESTIONS AND
ANSWERS JEFF IN 62-0527
694-12 Our heavenly Father, as we come tonight approaching that throne of grace, which Thou has so graciously bid us to come boldly before the throne of God and His grace, to ask any petition that we would have need of... You told us if we would be as many as two or three would gather together and assemble in Your Name, that You'd be in the midst of us. And then whatever we desired, if we asked it, we should receive it if we'd only believe that we would receive it.
Thou knowest the conditions of the day and the conditions of the church and of the people, and our requests before Thee. Now, You've seen the hands, Lord. You know the hearts of the people and their desires and their needs. And we see the time is approaching; it's closely gathering in now, the great clouds and--settling down. Things that the prophets spoke of many hundreds of years ago, we see has never happened till this time, and here we see it right in our days.
PARADOX A CHICAGO IL 63-0801
2 Our heavenly Father, we humbly come to Thee, Lord, confessing that we are not worthy of coming. But because that Jesus has made the way for us and has paid the price; therefore, we can come boldly to the throne of grace in a time of need. And now, Lord, as we are here to present the Gospel, searchable riches of Christ, we need You, Lord.
And there might be one setting here, Father, that You're trying to school in a great way, that You might send them somewhere to a great mission that You have purposed. I pray, Father, that if that be so, that this night, that Your purpose will be fulfilled. And help us as we present ourself to You for service.
Now, Thou did behold all the hands, and looking yet at those that are up. Thou knowest what is in need. And I pray that You'll supply it, Father. I offer my prayer with their prayer, and their desires and my desires, upon the golden altar where our Sacrifice lays tonight. In the Name of the Lord Jesus, we pray that You'll break the Bread of Life to us, out of Thy Word. Amen. (You may be seated.)
