Appointed Time
GOD'S COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM CHARLOTTE NC 56-0428
E-2 [Brother Branham coughs--Ed.] Very happy to be here. Sorry that so many are standing, but we--something that we just can't help.
Tomorrow, being the closing service of the little get-together, why, we are hoping someday to be back, if God willing, with a tent, big tent, so we can just stay a long time and be with you.
This morning, I had a lovely time meeting your Christian Business Men, here, the Full-Gospel Christian Business Men's Fellowship, a lovely time we had in the Lord. And I met with my good brother, Brother Arganbright; he's here somewhere, maybe, tonight. And Brother Gardner, and--and some more of our friends. Brother Lee Baxton and--Braxton I believe his name was, Brother Oral Roberts' associate. And certainly had a fine time of fellowship through the day meeting these wonderful people, trusting that someday, in God's great appointed time, that we'll meet in His Kingdom where we'll never have to part again.
E-37 And as the Church of Christ preacher told me some time ago, "Mr. Branham, I'd rather--I'd rather wear out than rust out." And that is a lot of truth. I'd rather wear out and die in the harness, as Brother Neville says, than to refuse to have the harness on. You can't do nothing any worse than to neglect to try. Let us do all we can with what you have to do with. And the Holy Spirit, our Tutor, will bring it to the Father.
And now, notice, if the child
become a gallant child then it was told to the father, and at... Oh, I just
love the Word. At an appointed time set by the father alone, the
child was, his glory and honor was manifested before the public. The
father taken his own child under a celebration and took him into the public
places, after his--being his own son born in his own house, yet the son was
placed positionally in the family to inherit all things the father had. You see
it?
E-92 That God would let you get in this line and be prayed for, because you're real nervous... And I see you, you're before a doctor or some... Yes, it's cancer. And the doctor give you up to die. There's nothing can be done for you. And you've lived over the appointed time. I see the shadow end and start again. God spared you, lady. That's right.
God's here to tell me that. Do you believe it's the resurrected Jesus? Then He said this... If there's a Spirit anointing me... That depends on your faith now. If there's a Spirit here on me that knows you, knows all about you, if you believe it's the Son of God, then the Son of God said, "If they lay their hands on the sick, them kind of believers, these signs shall follow them, they shall recover." Do you believe it? Then, come near.
O God, I come to challenge this devil. You've hid from the doctor, but you can't hide from God. Come out of her, Satan, in the Name of Jesus Christ. God has so ordained this to be. And you leave her, for we cast thee away in the Name of Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
Go happy, sister. Watch for about three days, now. All right. Have faith in God. Believe. You believe? All things are possible.
E-32 Signs are appearing. Jesus is coming. And great wonders are being done. Every milepost is pointing towards His soon appearing. And it'll happen in a moment. How are we standing this morning as we take inventory? If we should be spoke to this morning, and the Lord Jesus should descend from the heavens this morning with a shout and the trump of God, would we be found ready as a church body? Would we be found ready as an individual to join with those who are raised from the dead, who have proven themselves ready?
No matter whether we are ready or not, the Lord Jesus will come just the same at the appointed time. We must be ready. And we must do it now. It is no time to wait. We must redeem the time and be ready.

E-11 And then on this story of
the Shunammite woman, how that the prophet Elijah was such a wonderful kind
man. And this Shunammite woman respected him to be a great servant of the Lord.
And she was old, and did not have any children, and how the prophet had blessed
her, and told her that she was going to embrace a son. And in the
appointed time, the little boy came.
Oh, he loved that story, because it was about a little boy. And how this little boy loved his daddy. And one day out in the field while they were gathering grain, the little fellow must've got a sunstroke. It was about midday, and he begin to cry, "My head, my head." And the father had the little boy ordered to be took to his mother. And she held him on her lap for a few hours, and all his breath went out of him, and he died.
121-1 Notice how God did not move Israel until His own appointed time. (Now, listen. This is going to mean something.) Joshua waited for that time. No how--matter how much people might've said, "God gave us the land, the promise; let us go now and take it." They might've said, "Joshua, you lost your commission. You're all washed up. Why are you not doing something? You used to do--know THUS SAITH THE LORD in a moment and what was the will of God." But this wise God-sent prophet knew the promise of God, but also knew to wait for that promise, a clear-cut decision from God for his time.
(These parables, now, watch.) And when the time come, God gave it to Joshua, who had stayed with Him by the Word, for He could not trust others; He could trust him. So will it repeat.
125-1 The true prophet of God will proclaim the Word in the last days; denominations will hate him. He will not pull any punches on them. He will be like he was when he come at the first coming of Christ. "You generation of vipers..." But the predestinated will hear and will make ready for the countdown. The Royal Seed of Abraham's faith (like him) holding to the Word of God regardless, for he was predestinated... The messenger of Malachi 4 will appear at God's appointed time. We are all looking for him. We believe he will come. That is according to His Word; it will be at the end time, which it is time now for to see it.
POSSESSING ALL
THINGS JEFF IN 62-0506
143 Jesus said, "This is My body which is broken for you. Eat, do this in remembrance of Me."
Our heavenly Father, after we have confessed our sins, hearing Your Word, after we have confessed that we are unworthy, and we're trusting only in the merits of the Son of God... We're unworthy creatures. Forgive us, Lord, of all that we have did. And now, by faith, we come to the table of the Lord. And now, as this bread is presented to represent the body of our Lord, I pray, Father, that You'll sanctify it to its intended purpose. And may every person that partakes of this have Eternal Life in their soul. And may that every person takes this have healing in their body, and live the appointed time that You've given them. And may they serve You all the days of their life, and be raised up in the last day in the resurrection to be gathered together with the tribes of the earth that are redeemed by the Blood of Christ. Grant it, Lord; in Jesus' Name we ask it. Amen.
17-2 What if some bishop would've met him up there and said, "Now, are you the prophet of the Lord? Now, we'll tell you what you can say and what you can't," you think he'd have listened?
What if he'd said, "Come join our organization now, and we'll help you in your campaign"? You think he'd have listened? No, I couldn't imagine that out of a man like that. No, he was sent of God. He didn't have to have their cooperation. He had God's Word, and God's anointing, God's appointed time; and he was coming in THUS SAITH THE LORD; and that's the true prophet. That's the way he travels. He travels with nothing but THUS SAITH THE LORD.
E-53 So here He was. And He said, "After man is finished here and you've lived your time out... This is seed time, but there is a land beyond this that a man lives." He came to His Kadesh-barnea. It's called Calvary. There not only was He judged, but He was judged for you and I. He took the sins of Adam. And there He stood the judgment, crossed over the river of Jordan of death. But on the third day He come back. What was He? Bringing the evidence, like Joshua; He brought the evidence that the land's real. A man lives after death. Hallelujah. Man lives after he dies.
Job said in Job 14: "If a man dies, can he live again? Or shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change comes. I know my Redeemer liveth." Being a prophet hundreds of years before... When Elihu talked to him and--and the Spirit of God came up on this prophet, broke out in boils, and in a terrible shape... He'd lost everything he had but his life.
90-1 {140} He hasn't claimed it. See? If He took the Book of Redemption, everything that Adam had and everything that he lost, Christ redeems back; and He's already redeemed us, but He hasn't took the possession yet. He cannot until the time appointed, and then will come the resurrection, and then the earth will be renewed again, and then He will take possession, His possession which He got when He redeemed us, but will do it at the appointed time. Oh, my.
This is described in this seven-sealed Book that we're talking of now. All right. The Book of Redemption, it's all described in here. All that what Christ will do at the end will be revealed to us this week in the Seven Seals if God will let us. See? All right; it'll be revealed.
91-2 {146} Jeremiah said, "This scroll must be kept..." (as you read it there) he'd say, "He must be kept in a earthly vessel." See? Oh, what a beautiful thing there I could talk about awhile. This scroll was kept in an earthly vessel, a vessel that once became flesh (Glory.), died, rose again, and kept in a earthly vessel until the time of the purchase. Oh, my, beautifully.
All right. Now, these messages are all kept up until this earthly vessel, until the time of God's appointed time at the last messenger at the earth, and all that these people had jugged at and said, "I know it's there; I believe it's there"; and they'd fought at it, and brought it forth, and produced the things; by faith they believed it. But now it's going to be brought to us in revelations and from the hand of God by vindication. God said so; He promised it.
E-2 I was reading from I Thessalonians the 4th chapter. I shall read now from the book of Job, the--the 14th chapter of Job.
Man that is born of a woman is of a few days, and full of trouble.
He cometh forth like a flower, he's cut down: and he fleeth away as a shadow, and continueth not.
... does thou open thine eyes upon such a one, and bring me into judgment with thee?
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou has appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;
Turn from him, that he may rest, till he has accomplished, as a hireling, his days.
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down... it will sprout again, and that the tender branches thereof may not cease.
Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stalk thereof dies in the ground;
Yet to the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
But man dieth,... wasteth away: yea, he giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
As the waters fail from the seas, and the floods decay and dry up:
So man lieth down, and he raises not: till... heavens be no more, then shall he not awake, or be raised out of his sleep.
O that thou would hide me in the grave, that thou would appoint me a secret place, till thy wrath be past... thou would appoint me a... time, and remember me!
If a man dies, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change comes.
1055-284 O God, may we so shine as gems in His crown, that others might see and long to serve Him. Grant it, Lord. Protect them along the road. Bless every one.
And Father, at Your appointed time... I am Your servant. If You want me to continue these next week or to take those interviews, reveal to me, Lord, and let me know between now and Wednesday so that we can understand. Grant it, Father, so the people can come. And I pray this blessing that You'll help us and--and meet with us again here at our next meeting time.
Be with Brother Neville and these men who are bringing the Word way down in Texas, and out in Arkansas, and different places; just be with them, Father. Brother Pearry Green and all the group there, and--just be with all them, Lord; they're Your little children. Everywhere around the world they're waiting for Your coming. Help us, Father we pray, as we commit ourselves to You. In Jesus' Name use us. Amen.
1104-195 Do you have it, Brother Neville? What? Yeah. Habakkuk--Habakkuk... I haven't read it. This was just put in here, I guess, this morning. Habakkuk 2:1-4. Let's see it. Habakkuk 2--Habakkuk 2, and 1 to 4:
I will stand upon the watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch and see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer I--I am--when I am reproved.
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because I will surely come, and I will not tarry.
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Now let us stand like Joshua and Caleb. Our promised land is coming in sight even as theirs did. Now Joshua means "Jehovah Saviour", and he represents the end-time leader that will come to the church even as Paul came as the original leader. Caleb represents those that stayed true with Joshua. Remember, God had started Israel as a virgin with His Word. But they wanted something different. So did the last day church. Notice how God did not move Israel, or let her go into the promised land until it was His own appointed time. Now the people might have put pressure on Joshua, the leader, and said, "The land is ours, let's go and take it. Joshua, you are all through, you must have lost your commission, you don't have the power you used to have. You used to hear from God and know the will of God, and act quickly. Something is wrong with you." But Joshua was a God-sent prophet and he knew the promises of God, so he waited for them. He waited for a clear cut decision from God and when the time came to move, God placed the full leadership in Joshua's hands because he had stayed with the Word. God could trust Joshua but not the others. So it will repeat in this end day. The same problem, the same pressures.

Now remember that Moses was born for a certain work, but he could not do that work until he had received the gifts which would enable him to do the work. He had to go out in the desert and wait there; God had an appointed time. There was to be a certain Pharaoh on the throne, and the people had to be crying for the bread of life, before God could send him back. This is true for our day.
176-2 PERGAMEAN CHURCH AGE CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT 5
The last day messenger will appear in God's appointed time. It is the end time now as all know, for Israel is in the homeland. Any time now he will come according to Malachi. When we see him, he will be dedicated to the Word. He will be indicated (pointed out in the Word. Revelation 10:7.) and God will vindicate his ministry. He will preach the truth as did Elijah and be ready for the Mount Zion showdown.
286-1 SARDISEAN CHURCH AGE CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT 7
"And I will confess his name before My Father and His angels."
Roll call in heaven! "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call and I will answer Thee: Thou wilt have a desire to the work of Thy hands." The Great Shepherd is calling His sheep by name. The creative voice of God is calling them forth from the dust or changing their atoms even though they had not fallen asleep. It is the rapture. It is the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb and His bride.
